The Guard Your ID ink roller was a waste of money. I ordered one they offered a few years ago and it took several swipes to block out anything. But if you held it up to the light you could still see all the information you were trying to cover. Glossy paper was even worse. Smeared.
Much better to just get a shredder instead.
@CoffeeNut I also ordered a few years ago and my info on medication bottles was still visible...also info on personal check also was visible...waste of money...paper shredder is the best way for sure....

I use the guard your Id roller and it works well. You cannot see anything on the back. Occasionally you have to swipe twice, no big deal.

I caught a bit of Mary Beth today, and I have to say that I paused and thought about the way she can successfully sell (at least, I hope she is successful) without obvious gimmickry or exaggerated sales techniques.
With all the stentorian and excited voices one hears on QVC and all the manic movements that tackle our field of vision, watching Mary Beth makes a viewer pause and take notice. There is an agreeable quietness and naturalness about her sales presentations. She is easy on the nerves.

MBR is a seasoned pro. Pleasant, prepared and not hyped up.

@MindyD -- I am glad that the posts are now returning to the commentary about MBR, started by you, and away from the Guard Your ID tangent. Yes, it is a joy to listen to someone supplying facts about products in a pleasant, straight forward, and comprehensive manner. MFR can "sell" without frenetic, obviously phony, hand pumping and flapping gestures and can graciously handle "conversational topic sharing" with the vendor in a polite and dignified manner. No need to interrupt a vendor to accomplish this - just watch her do it. It's the grown-up way. On the other hand, instead of channel switching when the frenetic hand pumper is on, I amuse myself by guessing how many "palm down pumps and flaps" she will manifest per product. Thank goodness for hosts like MDR!

@Q-Checker And then you go off on a hand pumping (?), frenetic flapping gestures "tangent"?
Have no idea who you're even talking about! MFR and MDR?
Glad you find a way to amuse yourself, though.
