Whenever the calendar changes over to a new year, I always look up the date.
BTW it's always on a Sunday.
I am counting down the days. I rarely go out after dark, I feel like I've been in a dungeon.
So now I can go out past 5 pm or work in my yard later.
All but 2 of my clocks change automatically.
I have 2 old battery clocks that I must change.
I think even my car changes, I'll have to check, I haven't had it long.

Today I started 'weening' my sweet golden for the time change by feeding her meals and treats a little earlier each day. That way it won't be such a shock to her system when the clock changes...but feeding her earlier never seems to be a problem for her, never...lol! It's when the clocks go back that she gets to bugging me to feed her when the clock says it's not time yet.
Just wish the clocks would stay the same.

This has become ridiculous. Pick a time and stick with it. 'Standard' time has become so abbreviated is there really any reason to go back to it for just a few months... This twice annual exercise in setting the clock is just utterly goofy...

Is it my imagination or is it getting earlier each year?

I don't both to change car clock when daylight savings goes off. Don't drive as much in the winter and I'm smart enough to...........subtract one!
(digital you know)

Our state legislature is now considering two bills: One would keep us on standard time all year, like Arizona. The other would put us on DST all year.
If the first proposal wins, I may have to move. I like long sunny evenings.
Only in New Mexico....the enchantment continues.

there is a bill or what ever they call it--in the WA state legislature that wants to change over to just daylight savings time and I think Oregon and CA are doing the same thing--would be great. Not sure why the time change was invented--thought t was to give farmers extra light??

It's not the clock change that makes the day longer. The days get longer or shorter whether we change our clocks or not. I hate DST....I spend the entire summer feeling deprived of sleep because they took away that 1 hour from me. I just wish they would make it 1 or the other and leave it that way all year long!

Oh no. Here we go again. It takes me weeks to adjust when the time changes. 😢
