Drives me nuts when people say happy Memorial Day.
As for our home we pray for the loved ones of our fallen heroes, we don't party. We give Thanks everyday for our veterans and of course our very own active duty son 🇺🇲
Needless to say I don't care about no mail.

Memorial Day is to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.  Heart

For some, it's just the inconvenience of dealing with no mail delivery.

What a comparison.

I get all my mail and packages at my office.  The only mail I get at home is my electric bill and junk mail.  I only check it once a week just so it does not get too full with junk.  Since my office address is also on my driver's license and not my home address all things like jury summons and voter i.d. card come to my office as well.

I hope you like your job.

Changing jobs and having to change a zillion addresses is no fun.

Inevitably, things fall through the cracks.

Not that it matters but tracking shows UPS delivery on Saturday for Q items. UPS never work  on Saturday here?  I don't care about Amazon Sunday deliveries either as Monday as usual is fine. Our summer population triples so I am sure a Monday holiday and a two day weekend would be welcomed as busier.

@Gorgf  yes UPS and Fedex deliver in my area on Saturdays and for the past few Sundays Fedex has delivered also. The Post Office delivers packages from QVC, HSN and Amazon on Sundays.
