@software, your question about the clasp made me curious so I went back and watched the video with Judith and Antonella. There was no safety that I could see unless that tiny little post on one side that slips into the other side is considered a safety. I don't really see how that would be much safety though. When the magnets pull apart the post slips right out.

Antonella was gushing about the beauty of the domed cabochon stones, and yes they are very pretty, but what caught my attention was when A  spoke of the beauty of the twin leather straps. "And the leather...lalalalala, it's just so yummy" to which Judith replied "Yes, it is."

You mentioned it was faux, so I check the description, which does say faux. It left me wondering--does Judith not know her own pieces or was she being misleading? Maybe she was tired, IDK, because even when describing the clasp she mentioned the "two little stones on the back." Of course there are three little stones that form the iconic Ripka heart shape! It really is a pretty bracelet though.

If you notice, most women and men who have had a good deal of plastic surgery, appear to have  "very long faces", and sometimes their eyes seem to disappear. This might apply to Judith, I do not know her personally, or she could be ill.

@Stray  Did you volunteer at the Elephant Nature Park in Chaing Mai? I am going next year for a week! How was the experience?

I love ripka rings.  I have bought my 3 daughters and 2 of my granddaughters her rings that had their birthstone.  i was very pleased, as were they.  They all wound up wearing the ring everyday.  They do hold up.  My favorite are the emerald smaller stone rings and this small square cut tanzanite stone, set like a diamond shape. The tanzanite is unusually beautiful.  My granddaughter who never wanted to wear a ring, wears ot everyday, and will not take ot off.  I will say this though, many of the items she has on qvc are not what was in her store.  Neiman sold her gem stuff, and the pieces were 2,000 and up and very different.

i love the band detail, and many of the rings have inside detail. I love the gold color.

Her stuff used to be unique and original, now it’s just the same old gaudy stuff with faux diamonds for almost diamond prices. No thanks.

@Skyegirl21 I agree. Years ago she sold good quality stuff on the Q, but now all of it is gaudy and cheap looking. She (her company) got greedy and prices have gotten ridiculous for the junk they are selling. You couldn’t give me any of her pieces now.

@crackster I’ve been watching the Q since it first aired. Judith Ripka has had extensive plastic surgery over the years. I remember the sudden shocking changes to her face. To each their own. I thought she was very pretty before. She used to have dark brown hair that looked good with her olive skin.

Not owning anything from her collection unable to speak. Never cared for the sizing bar on her rings. To me looked unfinished. Since on the subject of plastic surgery. Recently one of my favorite singers ruined her face. Yes like someone mentioned closed eyes. Why does everyone look like lions? Cat like? Strange.

Silver is worth the going price on the day the designer purchased it...that can’t be changed. Just stamping your initials on it and adding $350 to something you have no place to wear unless you’re a Queen or princess is ridiculous...especially when the design isn’t great. If the silver isn’t the main feature of the piece and dependent on artificial or gem stones to add flash/value...bad design concept.
