She has a faux leather bracelet with a tiny bit of sterling and 2 even tinier stones for $250.

No thank you

I like that bracelet. It also has quite a few diamonique stones on it, but I agree, that price is very high. It closes with magnets. I've never had a piece of jewelry that uses magnets, I assume they're strong, but I'd prefer a clasp for safety. Especially for that price, I'd hate to lose it!

Never cared for or bought from JR.......liked John Hardy in earlier years....once it got to JAI and the reptiles, animals, etc.....just got turned off...not for me...

I really like my old JR pieces they were solid and heavy.  Intricate and detailed metal work and design, very little stones.  People always compliment those peices and they are at least 15 years old - timeless beauty!

I think a few of her pieces go a long way.  I have always found her to be kind and gracious to callers; I don't understand the comments about her being snobby.

On another note, I almost didn't recognize her yesterday; she looks very different.  Slimmer and blonder for sure, but also different.

@faeriemoonI have several JR pieces from over the years that I love and get complimented on all the time. I too find her warm and kind at least on QVC.  Not sure what others are experiencing.  And I agree with you about not recognizing her.  I saw her last night and was quite stunned how awful she looked!  She has gotten thin, especially in her face, and that blonde hair looks terrible on her. She had really pretty brunette hair that looked good with her skin tone. I actually thought she looked sick / unhealthy or maybe didn't have enough makeup on...I hope she is okay.

  I LOVE that bracelet.   I love leather & sterling together

Then I saw it was all "faux"  (except for the small amt of sterling)

Then I saw the price.

I'd be paying for the name only and yes, I agree about the magnet.

I don't recall, was there also a safety clasp?

I've seen bracelets with a magnetic closure that also have a safety clasp, I think Joan Rivers made her magnetic bracelets with safety closures.

@tansywrote:

The man representing JAI jewelry was entertaining to watch today.

Ripka has lost any appeal she used to have😏

@tansy- not to be unkind, but I never saw her having any appeal at all. She is the opposite of someone like Laura Geller, who is warm and kind and a person I can relate to. I understand that everyone has their own personality, but Judith's always seemed cold and aloof to me. I saw her the other day as I was surfing, and her face did not move as she spoke. Smile just once, willya??

I have one of her rings, an estate piece, it is pretty, but nothing spectacular
