Today I received 2 more letters from QVC telling me they won’t be able to fill 2 MORE items I THOUGHT I was ordering...and getting!

I say “more” because lately, this month, I’ve received other letters telling me the same thing.

So beware people, you might think you’re ordering something...then weeks later you’ll get ( or might get) letter(s) that they can’t fill your order.

With mine it does matter, they weren’t Christmas gifts...but I’ll bet some from others might have been...

This used to happen every now and then...but lately it’s gotten crazy often.

One today was about the Jaime Fox glasses.  I forget the others...not important...

Just giving you guys a heads up....

I ordered something last night and 18 hours later I got the email that it had shipped!!  I guess I’m getting it.

I’ve never gotten a letter like that after an order was taken. But I guess the more you order, the more your chance of getting a letter like that goes up.

@Annabellethecat66   They did you a favor with the Prive Riveau glasses.  I hate those things.  I have a pair that are so heavy, I can't stand to wear them more than 5 minutes.

Don't know if Reviews are still there; but months ago = Reviews were mostly terrible.  I changed my mind about buying them.

That has not happened to me or anyone I know.  We're all getting what we order and everything is shipping out quickly now.  I bought a couple of things for my self on 12/15 and they shipped today.  Even when things were at their worst nothing was taking weeks to arrive at my house.

The same thing happened to me last year. Q sold the item for a week around last Thanksgiving after I ordered it but then they cancelled my order in mid Dec. I do not order gifts from Q anymore.

I order from the site and love their sunglasses. They are very stylish and I have not found them heavy. Sorry, your experience is not the same.

OP...they have great sales on their very own site.

@Kachina624  My teenage grandchildren all love the things....and my 39 year old daughter loves them too.

They go through them like crazy...(loosing and breaking, etc).  I was buying extra one's..

So, they took a month long trip to Hawaii this summer (my daughter, her husband and their 4 children).

There are so many pictures of the teenagers wearing them, it's funny.

So, my daughter decided to have a professional picture taken in Hawaii for the Christmas card.

My daughter said she didn't realize it until finally the photographer told the teens (two girls and 1 boy), "Can we get some pictures where you guys aren't wearing the sunglasses".  Ha!

My daughter was ready to kill the kids because when you take professional pictures these photographers (especially when they had to go to the ocean to pose) only take but so many poses!

Oh, I got the email today about my order.  I have a suggestion......if they really appreciated my understanding, the email would have been addressed to me, not "QVC Shopper", and they would have made some sort of offer...like $5 off my next order, free shipping on another items, or similar.  This "stock" letter doesn't mean much to me other then being dissapointed in not getting my order as was originally promised.  Someone in their marketing department needs to learn about customer retention...stat.

Dear QVC Shopper,

We realize one or more of your orders may have been intended as a holiday gift, so we're sorry to share that there's a shipment delay and it may not arrive by December 24.

Please check your order status on QVC.com for the latest tracking information. If you have a question about your order, our Customer Service team is happy to help. Give us a call at 800-367-9444 any time between 7am-1am ET, seven days a week.

We appreciate your understanding and wish you a happy holiday season.

Sincerely,

QVC Customer Service

well said @CAcableGirl2

yes, they should be doing a lot of things that they aren't, like making offers when they blow it.

you put your faith in them to do what they "claim" that they do well.

they mess up and basically say, if you don't get your item by 12/24,  "oh and well".
which letter, q, v or c does that fall under?

the fact that no executive thought enough of customers to make a statement (even via email would have been better then saying nothing) about THEIR shipping problems and delays months ago, says a lot, without saying a word, if you know what i mean.

apparently, it isn't a requirement that the marketing department, know anything about mail merge! isn't that something that's been around for decades? LOL

perhaps its time that they seriously consider bringing in consultants that are up to date on ALL things marketing, among other things. keeping/doing everything in house, tends to go stale and stagnent . new sets of eyes are a much needed thing, if they want to retain customers AND have them make purchases in the future, especially those that are time sensitive.

it's not like people are going to forget this years drama, by this time next year.
