I've been on this board for many years but seldom post. I can assure you that my "promotion" of Lume is not a result of being financially rewarded. I like to give credit to products that actually do what they advertise. I think most of us are often frustrated when we spend money on products that are inferior. Lume works, It's really that simple. I realize there are those who insist that they never have body odor, but the fact is we all do. Most of us bathe every day, use good hygiene practices, etc., but there is still a bit of odor. To pretend otherwise just seems silly. Lume eliminates all odor. At least it does for me. I'm a fan and will continue to buy it.
As for the commercials, I agree that they are somewhat cringeworthy. I've never been one to talk about body function issues, even with friends. But that's just me. It would be great if the commercials could sell the product in a more refined way, but maybe that's not possible. The fact that we're even having this conversation proves that the commercials are probably effective.

Your comments are well spoken and well taken.. However, while these commercials may get the product noticed, it doesnt mean that can translate into a sale, it can have just the opposite effect!!!! --NO SALE FOR ME!
Just like another TMI commercial for shavers that also can be used for women's intimate areas.....When it came time for me to purchase a shaver for my legs, I remembered that raunchy commercial and purchased THE COMPETITORS product!!!! .......(I also shared feedback with the company)

@rms1954 It's crass, exactly like a lot of this world has become. There is no excuse for it and I think it is basically the dumbing down of America.
In one breathe you have the medical community telling us we bathe too much and we have no defense against germs because of it. On the other side of the coin we are being sold (by a gynecologist no less) telling us we stink.
Just goes to show, anything for a buck. And I don't care how much some people love this product. They are being sold a bill of goods. If they keep themselves normal weight (fewer folds) and eat healthy and attend to their hygiene on a daily basis with showers or baths, use a deodorant they sure don't need Lume, no matter what gynecologist tells them to line her pocketbook with $$$$$$$.

Nobody needs expensive makeup either. For people who actually need body deodorant im sure there's prescription products. People who love this product want it because it delivers. Personally I like being fresh at all times, from wake up to bedtime. So does my husband.

That lady on the commercial is annoying. The way she yells at the camera, and also why does she have to tell how to apply it? Let people read the stupid instructions. Eyeroll
I swear it's like middle school boys are writing commercials

So people who use the product with one hundred or more posts are ok with you?
