Re: Larry King R.I.P.

[ Edited ]

He brought a lot of joy, and information as well as education to millions of people over the years.  He was a rascal in real life, and a genius at work.  It is hard to interview and get  the real, true and information from celebrities that isnt pap.  He did this by listening and not talking, and listening more .  Wich  is a rarity these days

i cant imagine anyone ever taking his place.  The days of ****** Cavet, david frost,  Griffen, and Larry king are gone.

@giraffe77  Why? I bet he was not sad you are not. Atheists are good people.

I never missed a show that Larry King did, his was a favorite of mine.  He had a way, without being pushy or rude, to get people to talk, it was his demeanor.   Larry King was indeed a King, he was the best at what he did.  Rest In Peace Larry King.  You will be missed. Heart

He was an agnostic atheist and clashed with his last wife's beliefs as she was  Mormon. Their religious differences and the substantial gap in their ages contributed to their eventual divorce. i recall she sang for him on some program. i think she was crazy for him but she did have affairs.

@CatsyCline cute...but have to say that agnostic is not the same as atheist.  Woman Happy

I also likes him. Do I care about his personal life or viewpoints about religion or non-religious. No Way.

It is so sad to see the way this thread has gone...we are talking about a great personality who just passed away.  What happened to the respect we pay to those who passed and their families who are hurting because their loved one is gone.  Talking about anything else is terribly rude and disrespectful.  Some of these posts should be removed.

He was always condescending towards Christians that he interviewed. Otherwise, he did a great job.

@Steffdoggy10 Larry King was an agnostic, so I don't think his interview style re: religion was directed at Christians specifically.
