Reading some of these comments...I'm wondering what it would take to please some people?

Loved looking at Lenny even though he wasn't on long enough ~ loved Bruno Mars last year! Ladt night's performance seemed like a Saturday morning kids' show ~ juvenile.

GMA just did a story on her costumes and their cost.

I saw bits and pieces and wasn't overly impressed. I prefer real singing to hoopla and fireworks.

It was young and refreshing. What's wrong with that? I was surprised by how many of her songs I recognized. Never had put a face/name to the music when I heard it on the radio,

The worst performance in my opinion was Idina Menzel's rendition of our Nation Anthem. I was longer than the entire halftime show, or so it seemed. She tried to make it all about her which is not what the song or performance should be. Very disrespectful. I really don't get here appeal at all.

John Legend and the accompanying photos (appropriately for this contest of "from sea to shining sea") on the Jumbotron were much more in keeping with the spirt of an American anthem.

Every news report I read last night and this morning say it was a Lion. I couldn't tell what it was. It doesn't really matter I guess.

I was not sure myself until I heard the lyrics of the song ""hear me roar"". That just sounds more like a Lion than a tiger.
