This guy is such a pervert! A local reporter wore a wire for the FBI for years after he commented to her how hot he thought middle school children were, and she even had to listen to Fogel wanting to videotape one of her small children - he asked her to pick which one. UGH - put this creep away.

Why am I not surprised over this new development?

"Bad news keeps on coming regarding former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle.

It turns out, the Jared Fogle Healthy Lifestyle Nationwide School Grant Program was a sham.

Many believed the foundation was built to combat childhood obesity — something Jared says was a personal struggle growing up. But according to tax records, the charity never actually issued a grant, despite his promise to give schools and community organizations $2 million.

In fact, records reveal that 60% of the non-profit's budget actually went to former Executive Director Russell Taylor -- who is currently in jail on child porn charges.

Another 26% apparently just disappeared.

Fogle is on home detention after agreeing to a plea deal. Investigators said Fogle admitted to receiving and viewing child porn from Russell Taylor and to repeatedly traveling from Indiana to New York to pay for sex with minors.

He faces anywhere between five and 12 years in prison, followed by home monitoring.

Meanwhile, his second wife, with whom he has two children, has filed for divorce."

It sounds like you have been trying to find any excuse for Jared and what he did, even blaming Subway.

Humm...at this writing, seems Subway DID know. I felt from the beginning Subway was more involved with this mess than what was being reported.

Another thing that makes me go 'hummm' is the franchisee, Cindy Mills. If she knew children were being harmed, why didn't she go to the police? She wants to appear to be the 'hero', but this only makes her look guilty. Knowing & not doing anything....on some level, she, as well as CEOs, should be legally held accountable for their actions for allowing children to be molested since 2008.

Unfortunately this story is moving further & further back on the newspaper, so we might never really know what happens to the franchisee and Subway CEOs. If they knew since 2008 & not took action, think about the # of children that affected. Shame.

We need to tap the brakes a little bit & let the story 'cook' before accusing posters of certain erroneous things.
