I loved them when I got them last year.  As someone said, the scent might not be that strong after the package is opened.

Garlic and onions...the best. Since we use all senses when eating I think the smell would add to the enjoyment.

And as long as I have relatives or a neighbor's door I can knock on I would never throw out good food.

@January121 - Others have made suggestions as to why the smell might be strong initially.

However, there are only 6 of this flavor in the assortment.  Perhaps you could give them to someone who would enjoy them?

I always slice and freeze mine on arrival (as mentioned in the instructions).  I doubt you'd find the smell so overwhelming, if you did that.

Trying that or donating them to someone else is better than throwing them out, IMO.

I wish I had one now.  Call customer service and tell them you don't like them. Perhaps they will refund you.  You can't send them back.  Don't tell them what you told us. Thst sounds ridiculous.  Saying you don't like the garlic & onion is enough.

At least you got them! My UPS delivery worker decided to take an extended holiday. They were supposed to be delivered Friday, but I ended up getting notices from wrong street address to failed delivery because of signature needed (for bagles?). Final notice said they will arrive by next business day. That's Tuesday, they will be rotten by the time they get here!  I really wanted to try these, but I did get a refund.

Re: JUST BAGELS

[ Edited ]

We've ordered Just Bagels several times and never been disappointed. The garlic and onion are one of our favorites. I agree with others. At least give them a try, but if you feel you just can't, hopefully, you'll find someone who will and enjoy..

Why would you throw them out? I constantly read this on this forum and wonder what person would throw out perfectly good food when so many are going hungry? Have you never smelled onions or garlic? These are not mild. Donate them to a shelter or food bank or give them to a neighbor.

TBH I can't imagine just the smell of any bagel making someone literally sick to his/her stomach unless that person had a severe allergy.  Odd.

I don'tthink that QVC should refund her money. She ordered the savory assortment and should have known that they contained garlic and onions. They came on time and were not damaged or spoiled. Just because one does not like the taste of the bagels is no reason to ask for a refund. Can you imagine doing this in a restaurant?
