She got banned for reposting a deleted post...she had no idea she did this because it was deleted before she saw it.

Odd that posters are banned for relocation help when we're no longer wanted here. Actually, if QVC were gracious, or wished to appear to care, they would have posted other forum options and links to them, but instead of donating us they have just put us out on the curb..

@Carmie I don't know about you but I think we will have more fun over there and we will be able to not get banned or our posts deleted for dumb reasons.

QVC was gracious for giving us a month's notice that the board would be shutting down.

They are deleting live links to the new board. That is not allowed. If they delete something and someone reposts it, you risk getting banned.

I am an administrator for the new boards. I can see the member's e-mail address and birthdates. i still have no way of knowing who those people are.

If your e-mail is listed as ABC@Gmail.com that doesn't tell me anything. You do not need to put on your correct date of birth..you can put in anything you like...make yourself younger, if you wish.

I would NEVER compromise anyone's personal info. I worked in a very sensitive job with access to a lot of private info for 25 years and never told anyone anything I learned.

I trust the other mods to be the same way. If there is a breach of private info, out you go. There is zero tolerance for that...period.

Well I am just assuming because of being a Moderator myself in a few places. But your right I don't know 100%. What I do is this to protect myself. I have a gmail that I use just for boards like that. (Not my main email) Then I put in fake infor. such as BD first and last name. I learned that from a family member that is into cyber crime

Why would they ban them?? Are we not supposed to find a place to go since we are all friends??? I can see why many have already left. My Christmas shopping will not be here this year.

It sounds good on paper. I'm just hoping and praying that everyone adults and doesn't cross any lines. I would sure hate to have to warn or ban anyone. I will if I have to, but oh goodness..I just hope everyone has fun and doesn't cause any problems.

We want a respectable place no matter what. So far, everyone has been great!
