Hello Pink Sugar.........I just love your name..........my friend has a heater just like yours and she said I need to get one. I use DuraFlame logs and I don't use my fireplace very often due to the cost of the duraflame logs but I have tried to start with real wood and I can't. So happy abour your daffodils.

I'm trying to think positively that warmer weather is on its way, but you couldn't tell it yesterday. I made our last fire of the season last night, we're officially out of logs until DH cuts more this summer.

We live in New England. We have a woodstove. We used it a couple weeks ago. We have it ready just in case. Hope we won't need it 'till next fall.

Had 5 inches of snow yesterday, so yes, we are still using ours. I have it ready to light for the evening since I'm out and about during the day.

We took out the gas insert before Christmas and started burning wood. I've enjoyed it so much more and we will likely remove the gas inserts from our dining room and bedroom fireplaces.

I resisted having wood fires because of the "mess" but decided that it was a waste not using the beautiful fireplaces we built to enjoy.

We used ours this past Sunday. Hopefully for the last time . . . but you never know.

We have gas...yes we have still been using it to keep the chill off the house.

We have a wood burning stove and had a fire going Sunday and yesterday. Judging by the weather forecast, we shouldn't have to have one until this weekend again. It really has to be below freezing to use a wood burning stove or it just gets too hot.

We don't have a fireplace built into our home. The only ones we have are those electric ones like Q sells. Havent used them much this year. Im always hot! lol.
