Anyone Started Cooking Yet For St. Patrick's Day Dinner?

We had a great discussion last year about favorite dishes and recipes for St. Patrick's Day. A couple of people said they baked their corned beef so I decided to give that a try this year. I found a recipe from a food blogger I like for coating the meat with deli-style seeded mustard, brown sugar and a little honey.

Going to roast red potatoes, carrots and onion wedges, then boil the cabbage wedges.

No Banoffee Pie this year, but it sure was good last year Smile

Hi Noel!

I'm not cooking this year. My house is for sale and a lot of my kitchen stuff is packed away.

Can I come over?

DH is German ... We had Sloppy joe and French fries. He does like me in my green jewelry and clothes. Especially since he got them for me.

I wish you could

I didn't know you were moving... will you be staying in the same state? Don't answer that if it's best not to.

I want to try it in the crock pot, too! Maybe next year.

I cut down on the work this year, got soda bread from a good bakery instead of making it from scratch, and nixed making a pie.

However... I will be passing these around {#emotions_dlg.devil2} The photo is from online but my mother gave us these same Irish Coffee glasses years ago.

Hi everyone, Smiley Happy

Guinness stew is ready. We should be eating soon. Hubby, who is 100% Irish, is set to walk in the door any moment.

I also have Irish soda bread to share.

For dessert....Bailey's Coffee......coffee, Baileys and Irish whiskey.

Enjoy your evening.

Yep. I'm staying in the same state. I am just moving into a place without so much yard to take care of and not being a homeowner any more. I'll be a renter! I'm going to a beautiful condo and a smaller town just on the outskirts of Scottsdale.
