I tried to register at that site.  No matter how outrageous or off the wall I made a user ID, it told me it was already in use.  I gave up.

@Kachina624,  Did you try your email address as the username?   That's how I registered, a long time ago, for the "My USPS" account, and your email address will be unique so it should be accepted (if it's not accepted, maybe you already created an account with your email address?).   Best of luck to you!   It's a far-from-perfect system, but I've found it helpful for tracking.

My post office is hopeless.  I would never trust them to handle this new process properly.

Once I requested a "hold mail" several days before a vacation, and they delivered it anyway - 3 times.  I complained through the USPS website but no one at my local post office would take responsibility. After going around and around with them I just gave up.

I'm sorry. It can be so frustrating and maddening to know you're mail is not getting to you.

We always know when our guy is on vacation because it's the only time we get other people's mail. We ask him not to take vacation because apparently no one else can deliver our mail properly. Our post office is not so great. The people are rude and act like they hate the world, their job and all people. Luckily we have another post office nearby we can send stuff from but we have to pick up our stuff at the new one with the rude people. Why these people keep their jobs is beyond me.

Thank you ladies....I am not thinking anything will be done to find my missing mail LOL...I am just hoping that if I hit that missing button enough this mailman will start paying attention more to what he is doing!

I looked outside and my flap on my box is up and so is another neighbor few doors down....I wonder if they got my mail and did what I did today?  I never put mail out until morning to be honest when I am actually mailing something...and usually I take it directly to the PO cause this guy may lose it before he gets back to main hub!

Even though I can't really do anything to get my mail back at least I know the doc's office or others sending me things really did send it LOL!  I sure hope they scan most of my mail....if it stops totally like some of you other ladies I will go back up and talk face to face with the delivery supervisor again.

Just last week I went out to my box and there was 2 packages jammed in my box no mail at all which is very odd.  I thought I bet he gave someone else all my mail!  The next day I had 2 days worth of mail in my box...you know how they wrap each days stuff inside junk mail flyer ads?  Maybe packages mess this guy up bad?  I think he drinks at lunchtime...I have told everyone that.  I have no proof but I have never had such bad service since moving here...I love when he is off the wonderful woman fills in for him and everything is perfect...even EARLY delivery!  I have waited on this guy to show up past 6pm!

I have a large check coming from a account I closed out....I need to know these people sent it out at least...don't expect that one until next week.  Got my fingers crossed I get it.

One of my missing pieces was my voter registration card which I had requested because I needed proof of residency to get my real I.d. drivers license. I was really upset over that and also over the fact that that information was not private in the way they send it out as a post card. Anyway, I did get my real id without it.

I love Informed Delivery!

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Oh, and did you hear that they want to raise the cost for postage for a letter to 60¢?  I guess that's to pay for photographing your junk mail.

OP, wait a day before you ask.  I've had mail in the email that didn't come the day I got the email.  Freaked me out a little, but it ended showing up the next day.  Every flat piece of mail is in the email.
