Re: If you had $50,000 to improve your home where would you spend it ?

I have no idea how much anything costs so I may not even be close on money, but if it's enough, I would like a huge walk-in closet and a powder room.

Put French Doors in the kitchen that open to a deck. And then continue the decking off the family room with all new sliding glass doors or French doors.

I would move the location of the master bath shower and change the layout somewhat to accommodate a new door location.

We have four dogs and would love to expand there play room and doggy door. I also would like to have a screened in room with AC in the summer and Heat in the winter.

Hey Matty6,

Looks like you described something similar to what I said in my post now that my wife is fostering Boxers for a 5 State Boxer Rescue Organization. Ours would be outdoors is the only difference and it would be very, very BIG

Sounds like you are describing the 4 season patio room we had built a year after we moved into our home. It however is "glassed in" and we had all sliding doors put in it when built instead of just windows. That way our felines can lay on the floor and easily still see everything going on in our very big back yard.

Nothing like being in it during a blizzard and watching the snow blowing everywhere and while feeling like you are out in it, actually being inside where it is nice and warm. Think you might like a big piece of property like what we call "our heaven" with no neighbors visible and privacy unheralded as in most neighborhoods.

Purchase a new car to decorate my garage. LOL
