Hi Wookie,
I'm just curious to see what your husband was told to eat to replace animal protein. As I stated, I still eat meat, but not as often & I only eat chicken or fish. I use sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, flaxseeds & nuts to meet my protein needs. In my smoothies I use protein powder, raw cashews, & hemp seeds to add protein.

If he follows it most of the time, he should do well on it. I'm not 100% raw & I've still had good results. I changed the way I ate late last fall when I was diagnosed with a number of food allergies/intolerances. I've lost 30 lbs & I look the best I have in years. I'm still working on the energy part.........
