Re: If you could live anywhere, where would you live? And where would your 2nd home be?!

@shoptilyadropagain What's your favorite beach in panhandle Florida? We recently started spending a winter month in 30A. I'd like to stay longer, but perhaps some day. The drive is convenient for Midwest living and we enjoy the area. January was Rosemary Beach and 2021 will be Seagrove Beach. Love riding my bike there and we have visitors pop in. The Panama City Beach airport is convenient to that area. I was wondering about Pensacola Beach. We'll check that out in 2021 - day trip. Thanks for sharing your preferences.

I never take where I live for granted. I love WV and all it’s beauty. The one thing I love the most is that we have all 4 seasons, but if I could own a second home, it would be in Texas or somewhere in the Midwest. It would have to be private or rural, because that’s what I’m use to. I love my home and my roots!

@jeanlake   I'm practically next door at Panama City Beach.  30A is so beautiful and every year I'm down there I always say I'm going to take a drive on 30A but don't like to take time out of my relaxation and tanning time.  I do normally get over to Destin (on 98) and last year, I did that on a rainy morning.  I've flown out of the airport several times and also the older one that was in Panama City.

I love PCB as it offers so much in the way of shopping and restaurants but it's grown so much over the last 15 - 20 years that traffic gets bad even in the off-season which is when I normally go.  Enjoy your month down there this year and tell the GoM I said "HI" as I don't think I'll be heading down until maybe next year.

The Pacific North West is utopia to me. Would not want to live anywhere else.

I’d like to live somewhere without COVID-19. Probably another planet....

We go there practically every year ... my son lives a stone's throw from the beach in Pensacola.   Also love Panama City beach.

New Zealand. Everything about the place, including being completely Covid free.

But I'll always be a proud American, so I can't imagine not being a citizen here with a home here as well. I want to redeem this place and improve it for future generations, not leave it.

I would love so much to live in the Monterey/Pacific Grove area.   I love it there so much and I also love the Pacific Ocean.   I'll most likely never get to even go there again, but I guess I can dream sometimes.  Smiley Happy

I've visited many countries and I've lived in only one other country aside from the US, but Monterey/PG is still my dream.

I was born and raised in Southern California and have spent the last almost 30 years in the Pacific Northwest.  Love both places but with the current problems I would probably pick Victoria, BC.  I would never want to live anyplace that is humid in summer.
