Why would you pick this person and what would you talk about?

My mom. She passed away five years ago. We'd just hang out and catch up.

My Father - because I never really knew him.  I cannot remember holding his hand, or him ever giving me a kiss.  He did live with us but he was a stranger to me -  growing up I can remember no communication with him.  I would like to talk to him to,understand what went wrong as with my older sister he was the "ideal" Daddy.  He was not abusive just totally ignored me from day one.  Would love to have a conversation and find out what it was all about.  When he was very old - DH and I looked after him and I did see him laugh and smile for such a short time before he died.

My mom.  Lost her 2 years ago, she was in her early 60's, and I still have so much to say even though I was with her at the end.  She's my mom, I'll never stop missing her, no matter my age.

My late husband.  We wouldn't need to talk, just sit together, my head on his shoulder, his arm around me,our hands linked.  I would absorb his strength, take in his scent, listen to his breathing and the beating of his heart.

Former DBF. Think about him every single day and it's been years.

Dream about him most every night.

My husband. I think he's the only person that was on the planet who 'got' me.
There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.
