That's awful. The IRS never makes mistakes. And even if they do they never do.

How do you pay estimated taxes online? My CPA has always given me coupons to send in with checks. I didn't know you could pay them online except through IDme (I think), which I've never set up.

Eerie, Ind. Season 1, episode 17. May not not be available because of political references.

@Ainhisg , I authorized my CPA to pay mine quarterly which relieves me from having to remember to do it.
@kismet, What a nightmare. So sorry this happened to you.

irs.gov/payments
you don't have to have an account set up just follow the instructions-you'll see estimated tax as one of the choices.
Your state has it's own so I guess just look that up in your search bar-make sure it has the https in front.
Or you can call your state revenue (tax) number and ask.
Hope this helps![]()

In order to win this one, you will need proof that you instructed them to use the checking ACCOUNT. Do you have that?

Independent contractors don't receive a paycheck from an employer with withholdings taken out. Being self employed they receive the full amount for their work and are required to pay the taxes themselves. The estimated tax payments are usually done quarterly.
