Humidity is the problem, not so much the heat.  I can trake dry heat.  Humid heat is pretty bad.

I have stated several times on these forums how I hate the heat and humidity.  I find it oppressive, unhealthy and my energy level is at its lowest.  I could never live in a hot climate for any length of time.

It has been hot where I live and the air conditioner my relief.  I look forward to the cooler weather where I am motivated to be out and about and enjoy the great outdoors.

I am in the PNW and we are just starting a heat advisory.  It 92 and smoky here at 5:30 pm.  My GD says it is 104 in Vancouver, WA.  Cooling centers are open and the town swimming pool is free.  They also turn the sprinklers on in a couple of the parks to help keep people cool.  I am thankful it is not humid heat.

I've been in Arizona, Texas and in Florida.  I can take it in Arizona and Texas enough.  Just can't in Florida.  Just can't tolerate the humidity.

I have nothing but sympathy for all of you folks who suffer in the heat.

You may feel free to extend your sympathy to me by the time December rolls around.

Yep, I can't abide cold. For me, July and August are my focus months.

100°? Muggy? Soupy? Steamy? Bring it!

This has been one crazy summer---While northern cities have suffered with the heat...Our summer here in South Texas has been relatively "mild" with all the rain we've had and mostly temperatures in the low to mid 90's....I dont think we've even hit a 100...yet and its mid August....very unusual for us!

My sympathy goes out to all that are dealing with the unusual heat for your area and there's no A/C......I hope the weather changes for you....
