Seemed like a clear statement of fact to me. No subtle jabs about it. - I miss the ignore button -.

I agree.

Which fine by me, but we all have people we don't really care for, including myself so this place is no different.  Those who can't handle it, well I don't know what other recourse they have but to leave.  Personally I found it useless since the 'offender', unless they are a complete social outcast would be quoted repeatedly through the thread.

You find it useless, others disagree.

I guess you'll make your own call about that.

So OP are you saying that if you can't talk about yourself you have nothing to contribute? That's sad.

As others have said, many discussion are allowed as long as they follow  standards. The deliberate thread bombing to get it removed is nothing new and now we know where we stand.

Using an ignore button is no different than asking to be seated at a restaurant table away from a loud group of party-goers, or not wanting to sit next to someone wearing too much perfume. There are some people you would not want to be around if you had a choice.

I enjoyed the 'ol Viewpoints and the threads rich in sales and coupons like Beauty.  That is all shot to manure now.  I am on the other board a lot.

Yep. I signed up over there and checked it out. It's a fine board, no problems, but, I have to wonder if it's all that, why folks are constantly here trying to recruit?

Not trying to be snarky and no offence to anyone who posts there.  I have a few posters over there that I consider good friends. I'm really seriously asking the question. I don't get it, I guess.
