When I don't know who the SNL hosts are. Recently it was Drake, never heard of him.

When myspace was no longer cool.

Also I never heard of sending a thank you note for a job interview until these boards.

I knew when I could name a lot of friends whose parents were divorced. Until my 30s, virtually everyone's parents were still together, and none of us could relate to the "step" thing.

“We know that wearing a mask outside health care facilities offers little, if any, protection from infection.

When someone says just text me your phone number and I say I don't know how to do that and don't have a cell phone that will. The look I get - you are kidding me, right!

When someone says just change your program to fire fox or delete cookies. I have no idea how to change programs. I deleted my cookies once and it took every password off every account I had. What a mess.

I finally know what I'd say on this one. It was when I looked in a People magazine and realized all the faces or even the names, that I had no idea who they were. Then as I heard music or saw something on t.v., I realized I was out of touch with current "things and people" and they'd say how old a movie was, it staggers me. Time zips by before we know it. I'm sure I was just 25 the other day. Whew!!! LOL

When I noticed that most people do not RSVP to a party, dinner, shower etc., and the person throwing the event has to email or text or FB or call those invited to get a head count.

WHY! I think this is rude and takes away pleasure from the person giving the event.

Wonder if now then, they'll need to add "no response will be taken as not coming." ??

When a new guy (late 20s) started at work...and then asked for a two week vacation (and GOT it!)

It was cold and he wanted to do spring break with his friends. He was there for less than a month and got 2 weeks off.

I was appalled that he had the nerve to ask - and surprised when it turned out to be OK!

Then I noticed everyone under 30 asked for extra time off...they would take it even if they weren't being paid!

I realized I was of a different generation when I refused to join the smart phone zombie cult. I have no desire to be connected to a smart phone 24/7.

As it is I spend all day at a computer at work so I prefer to expand my horizons and do other things rather then being constantly fixated on a phone ---taking pictures of what I'm eating to send to others, texting instead of actually talking to the person next to me....
