I've never felt that Cait had made, or was making, a total committment. I think she is one screwed up person in ways that have nothing to do with gender identity. Not sure if she always was or it's been the exposure to Madam Kris (and I use the term Madam with its traditional meaning). I feel as if she's used the transgender community for her own ends, and I find that...creepy is the nice word for it.

And no, I would not be surprised to see her as Bruce again one day, though if that happens IMO she should chsnge her name entirely and move to the Himalayas. She might learn something.

I'm sorry but you made me giggle.  LOL

Just one question....if he never had the surgery how could he be transgendered? I thought a man who wants to be a woman and consider themselves transgendered had to have the surgery to become a woman. Color me confused.

It was a bad show and it really wasn't about transgender issues and struggles.  Ok, I suppose it might have said something to the 66 year old, weealthy, famous, former Olympians who were transgender.....it didn't represent or speak to any other transgender person.  It was vehicle for Cait to to make some  money and get some endorsement deals going.

Jazz is about a boy who transgendered into a female at a very young age.   I think the larger picture is how her Family and friends supported her through her transisition.

I did not see a few episodes of that show.  She transgendered as a young child and it does deal with some very real issues and challenges.  To be honest,  I don't particularly like Jazz's mother.  I know the show is about making money for the familly but Jazz's mother just inserts herself into every single story line.  She really loves the whole fame and being on tv thing.  But the show is 1000 better than Cait.

The other women really faced struggles - jobs, family, friends, surgeries, discrimination.  Cait didn't.

I think that's where there was a huge disconnect.  All Cait wants to do is dress up in designer fashions and put on makeup.  Cait has plenty of money to travel, have as many surgeries as she desires...

"Funny thing", everything I know about the Kardashian family, I learned here.

Bruce Jenner was a miserable, narcissistic person.  his treatment of his first wife while she was pregnant was awful.

So, would I believe Caitlyn would use the transgender community for his own selfish purposes?  Yes, I do.

Me too!   I saw half of one of the Kardashian shows many years ago.  I thought it was silly and never looked at another episode.  All I know about any of them is what I read here or what filters fthrouh from other sources.  I don't ever intentionally read anything about the family and I honestly don't know who Kanye is or what he's famous for.  But I am always amused by all these posters who hate them but seem to watch theiir shows and follow them and obviously could write biographies on all of them....lol   Maybe it's just me.  But,  how can you dislike someone or some family and yet follow their every move?  I like the "I wish they would go away" comments especially....because....if you don't watch/follow them....they do go awah...lol

On an episode of one of their shows, Kris asked Cait if she was dating, and Cait said something like: "Not yet.  Probably after the surgery."  So, guess she's considering it, or was at the time.

@chrystaltree  I agree with what you said but I also question this:  In the promos, they show Jazz as a very young child ( about 4 y/o) saying "I have a girl's brain and a boy's body".... Now, I doubt very much a child that age would even know enough to say that.  I think she probably wanted to play with a doll or something and her mother decided that maybe she is really a girl?  I have my doubts.  Why would they even video her saying that???

I also wonder why Jazz can't wear something other than those short shorts every time we see her.  Once in awhile, we see her in jeans but most of the time it's those shorts.  I don't think this show is teaching anyone anything.  I think the money is very appealing to the parents.  I do love the boys though.  I think they are adorable.  I also think the mother is much too up front with the kids - she tells them too much - things they don't have to know, such as when she has her "cycle", etc..... Enough already mom.  JMO

So happy that show is off the air. Train wreck. The rest of the family needs to go also. Useless people. They have no goals in life but to make money off of their weird lifestyle. I guess some people love to watch .
