@icezeus , that was the miracle story of Fiona.  The little boy safely returned home by SAR 15 hours after he went missing.

 

There were two fatalities that I know of, one of them in one of our seaside communities. An 81 year old man from Lower Prospect is believed to have been washed out to sea.  Search and Rescue (SAR) called off the air, land and sea search yesterday with little hope that he would survive.

 

The other was a 73 year old woman in Port Aux Basques who was swept into the sea while she was evacuating her home.  

I am thinking about those affected by Ian today.  🙏🙏🙏. LM
