I am looking forward to how much more light weight the new tvs are.
My tv is so big and heavy it is funny to look at.
It served me well.
I hope to move so I am going to wait to buy one then.

2 people, 5 tvs, all LCD flat screens. We have expanded basic cable, no premium channels. Digital package is the only thing available. Of the 5tvs, one is hooked up to an HD box and the rest are hooked up to the digital adapters that are free until some time in 2016.
One in sunroom -- I love to sit out there in the evening with a glass of wine. One in kitchen -- we watch the news during the dinner hour, then maybe catch a game show before moving to other rooms. One in living room -- this is the only one hooked up to an HD cable box so I can watch sports on the biggest screen. One in mom's bedroom -- she's in there most of the time so it is on all day. One in my bedroom.
When we have to start paying for all those digital adapters we're going to look at other ways to get tv. We still have the big honkin' tv antenna on top of the house, so maybe it's time to reuse it!

4 TV's, 2 people!! We have one large flatscreen in our family room, 1 very small flatscreen in our kitchen for when I am cooking and baking!! 1 in our bedroom, I love watching TV before I fall asleep and one very old one in the garage for my husband when he is working and tinkering out there! He especially enjoys that one during football season!!
It's hard to believe when I was growing up we had one !16" black & white TV in the living room for all of us!!![]()

4 TVs - living room, bedroom, family room and my son's "maid's quarters" rooms.
All flat screen now. We won a Blockbuster Video national contest 20 some years ago - and the grand prize was a big Sony Trinitron and everything to go with it, including a home theater set up. It lasted, with no repairs, until 2 years ago. We had to pay to get it removed and disposed of. It weighed a TON (at least it felt like it did!)

Four, counting the little one in the laundry room, which is just connected to a converter box . Seems to pick up more and more channels, every time I put it on. Helps to pass the time, while waiting for the dryer timer to go off.
