not a topic you started but a post you made within a existing topic. when I click on my name all I see is threads that I started not those I responded to.

What kind of device and operating system are you using to post? It seems to make a difference.

I use a Windows computer and after I post I see this:

I click on that message and it takes me to the post I just wrote. But you also have to have your settings right.

This seems counter-intuitive, but you need to make sure that "Show confirmation pages for posts" is NOT checked. When I checked that box, clicking Post took me to a blank page the next time I posted. Weird.

To change this setting:

1. Hover your mouse cursor over your username.

2. Click My Settings.

3. Click Preferences.

4, Remove any check in the Show confirmation pages for posts box.

5. Click SAVE.

I hope that helps. If you're using a Mac or a mobile device, I have no idea.

Kathy, at the time that you reply to a post, are you having a hard time seeing how it looks after you click post?

                                    OR

Are you trying to find your replies to threads that you posted to, let's say last week or the other day?

Hey, KathyPet.  birdmama answered your question. In the picture she posted in message 3, under your name and the date it gives for your account registration, it says "2,636 Posts."  Click on that, and that will take you to a list of all of your posts (whether they were OP or replies).

Re: How do you see your posts?

Thanks to all for trying to help. I have tried these suggestions but all I see is a list of threads that I started myself and a list of postings I made that have received hearts. I simply cannot see all the posts I have created. I think I am going to give up.

Do you see anything above these words?

Re: How do you see your posts?

Kathy, is this new forum, not all of these are threads that you started.  Because of the way we have to REPLY to posts, you are going to look like the author all of the time.

It doesn't mean you started the thread.  It's all of your activity, even when you are responding.

Try clicking on some of the items you see and I think you will understand what I am talking about.
