I'm only guessing that a good way to 'become used to' rejections and to 'become used to' moving on would be joining one of those speed dating coffee types of events. It might be fun, meeting many people, rejecting and being rejected along with everyone else there. Rejection in numbers is a lot better than feeling rejected all alone. Who knows, you might run across someone who 'clicks' with you! I'd give it a try, just for practice. .......... In high school, they told us to apply for many, many jobs just for the experience! And to expect to be rejected; but, one day we will run across the perfect fit, the perfect job for us and for our future employer. It's good advice. ![]()

I am not sure how you were rejected but I am sure that you have not accepted everyone yourself. That is life but you can be sure that if you keep at whatever it is ,you will eventually achieve your desire.I once heard that for every pot there is a lid somewhere.

I didn't deal with rejection well either.
Not just from men but from anything.
I am so much better at it now!
I learned that life goes on and new things and opportunities await and if I am stuck in the past I won't be ready for the new things coming in my life.

It's hard to say. She doesn't tell us everything straight away. It sort of trickles down

@JBKO and everyone else. I had to learn the hard way. My best advice is if you love yourself first, you can get through anything. I spent most of my life worrying about everyone else. Some people hurt more then others, and that is hard to change. You have to know that you are strong, and can move on no matter what.
I had a friend once that when I went to visit on her bathroom mirror she had written---ONLY YOU CAN MAKE THE CHANGES THAT YOU WANT TO SEE. When I got home , I put that on my mirror, so I could see it every morning. A Male friend of mine said I want you to get up every morning and look in the mirror and say I am number one.
If this is over a guy look at it this way, it is better to end before the wedding, being in a bad marriage and having to go through divorce is worse. Hang in there!

It's kinda like a "cat-and-mouse" game.
