Re: How do I post a picture

[ Edited ]

@dooBdoo   If I choose a file on my computer and post a pic from it, can't a person right click on image info and see personal info?

I can post pics/gif from the net but never tried from my phone (Android) or computer.

In English, please.  LOL

@Cakers3,  I'm a mess aren't I?🙃😜

Answer:  No, they can't.😊

In the olden days of the forums we had that very problem you mention.

With the current platform, the software strips out personal information and saves the images to our profile albums.   Essentially it converts the images to a QVC (lithium.com) website pic.

(I want to caution anyone who copies/pastes or drags images from personal email accounts, or some of the personal storage sites or clouds, however.

When we do it that way, we're bypassing the protective "upload image" process and sometimes that kind of image will not be stripped of names, email addresses, etc.)

@dooBdoo   Ok.  Thank you.  I think I got it.  Except for the word lithium.

You're welcome, @Cakers3, and...  oops!  Sorry about that!

I just can't keep my feets in English, can I?🙃

I was thinking if anyone tries the right click, or other options to inspect the code, they would see our image location as a long string including "lithium.com" and might wonder what the heck?

It's the company (Lithium Technologies and Spredfast, merged into Khoros) that created and manages the Community.

I just realized I missed a great chance to say, "you Reilly did make me laugh out loud!"😉🤣

I hear my weather radio alerting to bad storms, so I'm scooting outta here 'til later.   Have a super lovely day!❤️

OOPS. I meant to do my test here and instead, started a new thread. Guess I was concentrating too much on how to transfer the pic.

OK - this is a better size pic. THIS is what fell out of my package when I opened my much anticipated Women With Control denim jacket with pearl sleeves. A372056 - a great jacket by the way. I have received someone elses order, received used and yukky things, but NEVER anything like this sharp instrument.

Now that I think I have this picture posting figured out, I will post this in customer care. Thanks for being patient while I learn how to do this and thanks so much to everyone for being so kind and thoughtful.
