Sheets

Light

White

Dark

Throws (2 twice a week) Pets sleep on them

+ Pet Beds every other week

I guess it's about 7 or 8 for me and my two pets.

My new HE washer came with an energy rating.

It says the average family washes 8 loads a week. The energy used by my new machine is $14 a year...the old one $72!

Maybe 5 or 6, possibly 7. I don't really know. When I get enough for a load of laundry, I do it. There are only 2 of us.

For 2 people and 2 cats we do 5 to 6 loads a week. My husband does his own laundry, one load each sheets and towels, my clothes (I alternate light and dark weekly), and I wash my undies separately with no fabric softener on the recommendation of my doctor. I have at least two weeks worth of undies so that I do not have to do that weekly, a habit developed in laundromat days. The cats bedding and lounging rugs get washed every other or so, more if someone loses their kibble. My mother taught me to conserve power and water so I do large loads rather than small loads.
