A load a day usually. I wash, dry, fold, iron, put away, hang up - cannot tolerate laundry piling up anywhere.

Also cannot tolerate trash accumulating for even a day. I love to empty trash cans My boss at work says that she is constantly throwing stuff in her trash can under her desk yet it is always empty.

For 2 people..I'd say 6 loads a week. Our washer has a large capacity so I do only medium size loads, but we both exercise and do a lot of work out in the yard.

We also wear, for the most part, clothing that doesn't need dry cleaning or special care.

I do a few small loads of hand washables/week. Use the utility room sink for this.

We do 2 loads 2X a week= 4 loads a week.

Then every other week we ALSO do bedding which is 3 loads (with our sheets, pillow cases, and 2 comforters bc we each have our own comforter on our king sized bed)

So its 4 loads one week, and 7 loads the next, 4 the next, 7 the next and so on. (if you get what Im saying.lol)

And we do it together. DH carries the baskets, I put it in and take it out and he carries it again and we fold together and he carries the completed basket upstairs and we both put it away.

2 loads a week. Although, I wash DH's work clothes every night after he works.

I wash a couple of loads a day every day.

Some weeks it's more because of dish towels and rugs, things like that.

I don't like to see piles of clothes building up, so that's why I wash every day.
