There is just the 2 of us so I wash one load of lights, one load of darks, one load of towels, and of course our sheets. That's 4 per week.

Only two of us and it depends on the time of year, right now lots of swimwear and towels all weekend long.
So I am going to say 8 this time of year and 6 the rest of the year

1or 2 loads of light color clothes

1load of dark colors

1 load of stuff I bleach like towels, and napkins and hankies

1 load of sheets

1 load of bras and other delicate/cold water wash

Seems like 5 to 6 but at times some of these equal more than 1 load or I also do some things like blankets or quilts. My washer does a beautiful job of getting our clothes clean but takes a long time as it soaks each load for 30 min before washing so it does take me all day to do the laundry.

2. One load of whites with bleach (sheets, towels, socks, etc), one load of darks. Then occasionally clothes that need special treatment. I only do my laundry. Hubby is responsible for his. No kids.

Two kids are still home, I do 2-3 loads a day. So, 14-21 loads a week!! Geez, that sounds like a lot, no wonder I am often in a bad mood!!!

Probably 7 loads a week -- just two of us. Sheets once a week and towels twice.

It's just the 2 of us and a dog but I average out to a load a day. There are sheets, towels, dog bedding, bathmats in 2 bathrooms. Then there is our clothing. I am not too fanatical about sorting, but I hate having dirty laundry pile up, so I will do the clothes as a load accumulates, usually every other day.
