Re: How Lazy/Tech Obsessed Can Society Be?

I've often said, for years, on these forums:

If anyone knows medical students, an excellent, lucrative field for the near future would be hand/finger/thumb surgeon or neck surgeon.

It's just a matter of time when the youngsters might need these important services as they grow into adults.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I thought it was awesome! Didn't buy due to $600+ price tag, but it's new technology so the price will come down soon. Will def purchase one then!

I don't get the washing machine that will hold a whole bottle of detergent in the dispenser - how long does it take to do individual pours for each load.

I don't see the need for every appliance or gadget to be operated from an app on a cell phone either.

i would not mind that feature.

i then dont have to have big bottles of detergent sitting out close to the washing machine.

Naw.

Mother Nature gave us a resilient machine to live in.

We’ve been ‘looking down’ for millenia without issues.

What did we do when Life gave us babies?

For a good 16yrs of their life, parents are ‘looking down’

in the same manner as looking at a cell phone.

Looking down 16yrs.

What did Man do when he/she tilled the land for centuries?

Look down 12-14hrs a day.

What did Man do when he/she wrote & read the beautiful books

and writings of our past?

Looking down 12+hrs a day.

And guess what?

Those surgeons performing those ‘cellphone neck’ surgeries?

They are looking down performing those surgeries.

Looking down 8+hrs a day without issues.

So this new ailment is because of a looking down motion

due to a cellphone or technology?

Nope.

my father was a general surgeon, but his specialty was hand surgery. you would be surprised how many hand cases there are and how few hand surgeons there are.
