I went grocery shopping Friday morning and at the top of the list was TP.  Fortunately I had checked the night before and *gasp* I had only ONE roll in the cupboard and each bathroom had two spare rolls. NOT enough. Now there's a pack of 12 Mega Rolls in the cabinet. I would buy more but storage is an issue. For now, anyway. Once I clean out the other cupboard of his Nat Geo magazines I can fully stock up.

When one used to live 30 minutes from the nearest grocery store one learns in a whopping big hurry what NOT to run out of.

Oh my goodness this thread has more than made me laugh but @kdgn cleaning out the cupboard of Nat Geo magazines to make room for more TP shoved me over the edge . . . you go girl, priorities my friend! . . . Smiley Happy

Side note, this thread had literally left me in tears from laughter . . . thank you all so much for your incredibly funny contributions as they have totally made my day! . . . Heart

So this is what this forum has been reduced to? So sad.

@Elvita...we are just having fun, laughing, and having a good time without everything we say being scrutinized, which is so common on these boards. Smiley Happy

I also have a rubber tub filled with spare batteries. Any size and I've got them. Costco is fabulous for having good deals on batteries-and so many things around the house need a battery or two or three.

I have a double pack of D batteries for the LED lantern that I bought a few years ago, you know, in case of a power outage. Haven't had to use the darn thing yet. But if I ever do, it can run for weeks with all the batteries I bought for it.

Over prepared, that's my middle name.

Oh seriously @kdgn, you and I must have been separated at birth as I have sleeves of Costco batteries just sitting in my cabinet just waiting to be used . . . Smiley Happy

I have close to 90 double rolls and will stock up further when the 20-roll packs go on sale.

I agree that it is an impressive stash.  I have 50 of them in a beautiful cream-colored dresser that matches my cabinets and that I got for a song in the corner of my kitchen.  I could probably win a contest for the most unusual use of a bedroom dresser!

My goal is about 200 rolls.  I buy them when they are 20 double rolls for $10 to $13.

We have: paper towels in the hall closet, napkins in the same closet, extra TP and extra paper towels in the basement and extra English muffins in the freezer cause someone might decide to eat 2 muffins at breakfast instead of one! Woman LOL

Re: How Is the T P Brigade Doing This Weekend?

I'm scared to admit how much TP I have for fear of being sent to the funny farm.  All I can say is I have a connection in the paper business.  I could go years without restocking and that's after generously sharing.

I stocked up on batteries with the days getting shorter.  I won't buy batteries full price, so I get them when they are on sale.

I always stock up on batteries when Costco has them on sale.
