How Are You Spending Your Day Today???

Will be spending a big part of my day wrapping my presents.  That is if Mr. Lucky doesn't try to get involved.  May have to close him up in a room for a while.

Around the house today and getting ready for a busy week. Husband ran to the office. He doesn't enjoy wrapping. Ha. After 39 years, I know him well. Finishing my audio book, C. J. Box. Casual, but productive day. Enjoy your day. Sunshine on the Missouri prairie and blinds are open. Hope STL has good weather as well.

I'm listening to Christmas music while cleaning the living room and dining room. Then I will have a light lunch and shower. Later I will be going to look at Christmas lights with sister and BIL and we will stop somewhere to enjoy dinner. Love this time of year!

@jeanlake......It was 28 here this morning when I got up.  And the sun is nice and bright now.  But it is supposed to rain here (maybe) tomorrow.....  Here's hoping it won't stop my friend and I going out to see the lights tomorrow evening.  Well my little feller has gone in and gotten up on the guest bed....now sleeping.  Need to get going on the gift wrapping while he is zonked out.

Re: How Are You Spending Your Day Today???

We think, we just might have enough Christmas stuff done (although not wrapping, aaaaagh-- I'm left-handed and loathe wrapping) to play hooky and dash to Home Depot to look at light fixtures.  Our entry hall is hideous and neglected, and we MUST start tackling it, one eyesore at a time.  (Ceiling next.)

Then on to lunch I hope, at a favorite Pakistani restaurant...

Re: How Are You Spending Your Day Today???

Around the beginning of every yearly quarter I start my 'quarterly house duties'. Stuff like stripping my bed of all linens and washing it, cleaning under my stove and fridge and also changing out my furnace filter. Since it's the end of the year now, I also start gathering my paperwork for tax filing. Once-a-year chores are on the list waiting but I have already started to do a few of them now.Woman Happy

We had Chistmas with the grand kids last night....but dh and I are doing some running shortly to get groceries (rarely take DH to the grocery with me, today is an exception)  for Christmas day, which will be a laid back day but we still need to eat.
