Re: House Robbed Of $60 Million In Jewelry.

Could be money laundering too. You buy the goods with dirty money, "lose" the goods to theft or a fire etc, and then get clean money you can spend freely from the insurance company.

I hope they catch the crooks. A sophisticated theft at that level, whether the owners have involvement or not (I assume not.), is guaranteed to be linked to organized crime.

Must have been the same security team Kim And Konye had when she was robbed in Paris.

Re: House Robbed Of $60 Million In Jewelry.

I have warned one of my daughters repeatedly about posting on FB when their house will be empty..along with the dates! “ we will be in NYC from tomorrow and then fly back next Tuesday”. Drives me crazy that she continues to do it.
I can’t imagine keeping $60 million in jewelry in my home. That’s what safety deposit type things are for.

I hope that they have LOTS of insurance.

@maximillian ...That was my first thought.  Usually wealthy people who have millions of dollars worth of jewelry have them insured, if they don't, oh well.
