I had never heard of the Ecclestones. Dad is head of Formula 1. Tamara Ecclestone and her husband had their $70 million dollar home on London's Billionaire (yes, B) Row robbed. Thieves found the safes behind her and her husband's dressing rooms and cleaned them out. $60 million in jewels.

No one was home in the 57 room mansion except for security. Not suspicious at all.

There was a video of her showing some TV show her closet. Not sure which one, article said she has a spring/summer closet and a fall/winter closet. In another video she said they bascially only live in 4 rooms.  Staff of 50. They have 1 child, a 4 yr. old girl.

Oh, her sister, Petra, bought  the Aaron Spelling house years ago but has since sold it.

I've heard of someone being robbed of a couple million in jewels but yikes, that is a lot to keep in your house.

Hopefully, they catch whoever did it.

I was curious after reading about the theft and looked at articles about her.  I was kind of surprised at the amount of pictures of her child.

I would be paranoid about someone kidnapping my child.  I'm sure they have bodyguards but still.

It's not a life I would want, but she has never known anything else, I guess.

It's got to be an inside job ....  or someone who knew them.  I had a neighbor robbed of $80,000 cash he had in his house while he was at the theater.  First, who leaves $80k around and no security system .... and leaves for the evening?

My one uncle, by marriage, went to see his Mother,  who lived with his sister.  Mother called him into her bedroom and there was $60,000.00 spread on the bed.  She wanted to tell him (eldest son) what to do with it in case she died. Her daughter had no idea her Mom had it.  My uncle had a fit and the money went into a bank the same day,

Evidently the woman and her DH didn't trust banks, he had died and when she went to her DD's the money went with her.

@CrazyKittyLvr2   I do know this name - I follow faithfully watching Formula 1 Racing every year. F1 has finished for this season, will be back on in March 2020. Extremely fast driving, beautiful race cars zipping around multimillion dollar race tracks in fabulous cities across the world, a multimillion dollar sport.

I guess what stands out to me the most is the fact that she had over $60M in jewelry, and yet the house was only worth $70M.

I'm sure she has a beach bungalow or two here and there, so maybe each house has it's own jewelry box?
