I would like to hibernate like a bear from June to November.

Florida summers are just awful and last soooo long.

Southern WV is also sweltering in the summer heat, and humidity, and I love it. Last winter started early, brought bitter cold temperatures that lasted for months, so now that the calendar and weather say summer, in every way possible, I am enjoying every minute of it.

I absolutely am not going to complain about the heat and humidity because our summer has been dreadful.

Saturday and yesterday were crazy humid and hot but I didn't care one bit.  DH and I got out on the jet ski Saturday for the first time.  Finally.

This week is supposed to be fabulous.  Except for a small chance of rain tomorrow morning, it's supposed to be sunny and in the low to mid-80's.

It has been hot here but today its cooled down significantly.  We had heat in California but I lived in Pacific Palasaides so it was always cooler than the valley there in LA.

My brother and SIL love the heat and they lived in Palm Desert and now near Las Vegas, which they love.  Too hot for me!   I don't mind the heat but I much prefer the 4 seasons here and its enjoyable after a lifetime of two seasons there in LA.

We've had a weird summer, where it's been in the upper 80s and 90s but has felt much hotter because it's been more humid than usual for this part of Texas. But it looks like we're heading out of the 90s soon and this week it's going to be ~99 all week and then next week it's going to be in the triple digits for quite some time.

Yes, we're in the midst of a heat wave too.  It's 88 now and they say we can look forward to sunny days in the high 80's to 90's for the next week.  Needless to say......I'm not paying any attention whatsoever to fall fashions...lol

Just checked my town's newspaper online update for weather and we will be in Triple Digits Thurs. - Sun., that is not even heat index just actual temp.   Looks like Aug. is coming in a little early this year.
