@SoCal Bred I still do. I've had a french manicure for the last 15 years! I may take a walk on the wildside and have a holiday stencil added at Christmas!!! LOL!

For years I wore a French manicure or a soft nude color on my nails.

For my toe nails, my "walk on the wild side" was usually a rosy coral, which I really loved.

That is exactly the way I always had my nails done prior to retiring 4 1/2 years ago, french manicure.

@SoCal Bred  @lgfan  - A french manicure is always beautiful.  I never knew it was "out".  That's okay.  I'll still wear it!

I'm like you.  I've always worn a soft pink or else a clear gloss on my nails but on my toes I always get a dark red.  My favorite shade is "I'm Not Really A Waitress" by OPI.

It has been said that was the way that Jackie Kennedy always had her nails done. Light pink on her hands and dark red on her feet.

French manicures are not out. I get my nails done every two weeks, most of the time French except for holidays. Many others do the same at my nail salon.

In summer my toes are usually in a shade of blue, it's what my technician says looks best on me. LOL!!! But come fall/winter with closed toe shoes it is a pale pink or sand color. I love french manicures, I just do not care for all the artwork though I used to get them done that way from time to time. From a business standpoint I preferred this 'look'.
