Some of the JTV hosts have nails way too long, but their manis are always tastefully done, they are not allowed to wear anything distracting on their nails.

Q used to be more strict about this, Kathy wrote in one of her books, no distracting nails allowed on the hosts.

@lgfan.  French manicures are out of style.  The only person I've seen wear one is Kathy Gendel of Breezies.

QVC obviously doesn't care what the hosts do, what they say, how they look, so don't worry about it.

@Kachina624  -  This is so true especially since the way they don't care about Treacy's extreme name calling of "honey" to her coworker, David.  What's worse is that she mentioned on air that she does it to the extreme since she knows it bothers many.

@San Antonio Gal   Jane is like a little kid.  All the obnoxious things to do just to get attentiion.  That's not the way, Jane!  Cannot watch her!

Sorry about the above.

The Q needs to inform their employee Jane that it is not a good idea to fight with the customers and deliberately annoy and irritate them. It cuts down on sales!

Besides, she sounds idiotic using "honey" so many times. There isn't a professional place for it.

Wow! This is an interesting topic! I woke up with several things on my mind this morning, but the condition of hosts finger nails was not one of them!😁 I am much more interested in the product being aired, but can certainly understand it being off-putting for those who find it to be a defining issue!😊

@lgfan

That is exactly the way I always had my nails done prior to retiring 4 1/2 years ago, french manicure.

@SoCal Bred I still do. I've had a french manicure for the last 15 years! I may take a walk on the wildside and have a holiday stencil added at Christmas!!! LOL!

Some of the host's nails look like they are heading out to the corner bar for the evening. Classless and cheap. Sorry but that is exactly what I think when I see them. I've said this many times. . . Kathy Levine should teach the newer hires what to do and how to to appear as professional sales people. The hosts are not stars, they are sales people.

Just my opinion, but I think the Q needs to up their game and get back to where they used to be...a respected sales team is a start.

Or bad hygiene.  Some may think they look "creative" but sometimes they just look like dirty nails.

Sorry, but women in SALES should have clean hands and nails and skip the distracting nail stuff, at least during work hours.  It takes away from what is being presented, so you'd think QVC would mind.
