IMO the Q offers two kinds of holiday shows.  The first is the decorating programming where they sell over-priced, made in China junk, that you can buy anywhere for less.  Then they appoint someone from their gang as a decorating expert and tell you how to fill your home with said junk.

 

The second kind of show is the gift *choke* show where they offer a bunch of junk that no one would purchase if there were not a holiday down the pike for which they needed some clever (well, seemingly clever at the time, but pretty qrappy in hindsight) trinket.

 

I watch neither of these types of shows.  However, I do manage to occasionally find a halfway decent gift during some of their regular non-holiday programming.  Imagine that! thinking
