I never thought I had hoarding tendencies. I toss and donate from time to time, but my recent experience makes me wonder. I received an order of Lock & Lock yesterday and after I washed the pieces I started to put them away. Hmm, no room in the usual places, than I checked the back porch and found a box with some new pieces still in the plastic. It seems I have a weird obsession with these containers, and I may need a support group. Is there anything you reorder unnecessarily ?

You must have a lot more unassigned cash and/or credit at your disposal than many.

Me reorder? I haven't ordered here since 2001. If I have a duplicate of anything, it is because I needed it. Things I need do not get put in some cubby hole and forgotten.

Find that group, quick!

There have been times I have re-ordered a audiobook that I previously listen to.

I dont think you sound like a hoarder, just forgetful or maybe you just like to collect L&L.

@QVCkitty1    From reports I read here, I think you have a lot of company.  American women seem to be obsessed with this stuff.  I often wonder what they do with so much of it.  Are there really that many leftover peas?

@QVCkitty1  You have lots of company. I had to give away some lock & lock due to lack of room. I find lotions, skin treatments, even tops that are duplicates. I am trying to stop this by emptying out cupboards and drawers to see what I have stored away. Getting better but a long way to go.

@QVCkitty1

There’s a support group for this: Lock & Lock Hoarders R Us.

They meet every Wednesday and each hoarder brings a food item in a Lock & Lock to share.

Okay, so you never actually get over your hoarding of Lock & Lock, but you do eat some great food and you get to see pieces you maybe haven’t purchased yet, but want too so you evently do.

Highly recommended.

@QVCkitty1 Count me in as a hoarder.

I have many Lock & Lock. But I also have a Rubbermaid set and Snapware set by Pyrex. I even bought an extra box of the Pyrex set. I had one cabinet for all my storage container items. Well, that is full. So in addition to the cabinet, storage containers are over taking a shelf on my appliance cart.

I donate bags of stuff on a regular basis but my donations don't keep up with stuff.

I used to buy a lot of extras for the kitchen but completely stopped years ago. I became interested in a clutter free lifestyle and bought lots of reading material back in the late 80's. Don Aslett was my favorite author on the subject  for awhile. He had a series of books and I was hooked.

Now with YouTube, and so many channels on minimalism, it seems to be trendy to pare down your belongings. It just reinforced a habit that I established many years ago.🌺

Not so much regarding kitchen items, but I'm bad about ordering too much Tweak'd haircare, and certain skincare and makeup items.
