I do not think you are a hoarder. I think like many Americans including myself, we have a disease called "too much stuff". A few months back, I started to give, donate,  box and throw away  items no longer needed.

I was shocked to relized that I have  a lot more items then I believed were in my home.  I think because it's all nice and neat I did not realize that I am like WOA!! Pump your breaks a bit.

I live in the suburbs so when driving down the street you have plenty of cars  not parked in the garage. Why?? Because they have so much stuff in the garage they do not have space to park the automobiles inside.

People have items (more stuff) that they have to place in storage. Because they do not have room in their homes.

Have you ever watched any of those hoarder shows. I have watched a few, but they ended up just grossing me out, so I am sure you are not a hoarder.  However, you have recognized that you might want to slow down.

I have had this thing with always having a new TV...gotta have at least one new TV in my house. The big TV I have now is only less than 2yo but I'm already looking to buy a new one and I don't need it. I usually sell off my 'old' TV after I get the new one just so I can have a place to put it. One time I had two nearly brand new TVs sitting on the floor in my basement not being used.Woman Indifferent What a shameful habit I think.

Totally can relate and wouldn't go so far as shaming any longer-just noticing and being aware. When I was little my dad gave me my first quarter. Immediately went to the convenience store across the street and bought a popsicle. The cashier gave me four nickels back and I rationalized wow, I can get another 4. So go figure that set a life long pattern in motion of buying five of everything since

For those that don’t know, @Kachina624  is a notorious pea-a-phobe. Yes, she’s a pea hater.

Look it up on Wikipedia and on YouTube there are videos of her not giving peas a chance.

She saves no pea.

I can't breathe even thinking about poor peas.

@Malcontent   You're on a roll today.

FYI:  I have no feelings about peas, one way or another.

I do have a picture for you.  Recognize anything?

@QVCkitty1 I could not help but smile when I read this post because it reminded me of my tendency to purchase L&L based on my want versus need of it.😁 Admittedly, I have forgotten a few pieces that were stored away in the pantry.😊
