High school graduation this weekend

DH and I are looking forward to seeing our nieces and nephews. We enjoy their individual personalities and we are looking forward to being with family.

Anyone else have graduations to attend?

I can do without the actual graduation ceremony. They're almost always long and uninteresting. If there's a get-together later, I'm happy to attend.

Hi butterfly,

Yes our son is graduating. So very exciting and proud also bittersweet. We were informed he is a recipient of a major award. We have family from out of town coming and some our church family.

A friend of mine makes money Lei's I just ordered one for our son. It's a great gift idea, has anyone ever seen them? Plus my son doesn't do flowers LOL.

DS#2 graduating from college next weekend. Has already been informed that he has received four awards. Praying for nice weather!

I'm not totally sure the letter from the school didn't say. I do believe part of it is because he goes above and beyond what is ask of him, he gets A's and he's accelerated in the news media.

Congratulations! That's a wonderful accomplishment for him! Our son also received an award a few years ago when he graduated. His graduating class was around 1000, so they actually presented the awards at an assembly a few weeks before. The awards were a surprise though. Enjoy your day and your time with your son and the rest of your family!

His award will also be given out a couple of days before graduation. Not sure why they do that. We already invited our family and friends before we knew so they won't be there. I couldn't ask them to come to both ceremonies nor would we expect them to. I can post a video LOL
