Very good for both of your daughters! You can breathe a little easier regarding the youngest- I know you've been worried.

Ford, every mother has a right to "brag" and be proud of the accomplishments of her children. Congratulations to you (for apparently raising them right) and to your daughters for what they've become.

Always a delight to hear some uplifting stories. Congratulations to both of your daughters as I am sure they have both worked very hard to have gained these positions. To me this certainly reflects on the manner in which they were raised and the values they were taught that can make the difference in success or failure in many lives.

Congrats to you for a job well done "Ford1224"

Thanks hckynut, it's not often I get a personal post from you. And a complimentary one at that! However, I can't take all the credit for my girls' work ethic . . . they always had it all through school, college, and in the way they conduct their lives. I did also always have a strong work ethic, so maybe they did pick some of that up from me and, if so, I am enormously gratified by that.

Thank you again for your kind and complimentary words.

Congratulations! Often times small, lower paying/part time jobs are great stepping stones to excellent full time jobs. Happened to me. Being a trustworthy, ambitious worker is often noticed by the 'higher ups'. If not, work experience and excellent references are very handy when one is looking for higher paying, full time employment with other employers/companies.

Thanks to every one of my friends here who are happy to celebrate with me. As we all know, the job situation has been very negative for several years now, and it's wonderful to see things like this happen again. I am hopeful others who have been hit with layoffs will begin to see their prospects improving as well.

Again thank you all for being happy for me and my girls. {#emotions_dlg.wub}
