I've watched QVC a bit today, and it just occured to me that I've not seen a single host grab and air-kiss a vendor.  Maybe the Q has issued an edict for the duration of the flu season?  Hey Q, could we make this permanent?

Leah hasn't kissed a single person all evening.  They don't even approach her.

I haven't watched for a few days but wouldn't be great if they stopped this kissing and hugging every vendor -- personally it is ridiculous the way they act like they (hosts) haven't seen them in years when vendor could have been on within hours!

Other shopping channels I haven't seen this -- plus, it seems fake to me -- esp with certain hosts!

I don't catch Leah often because of the time of day I tend to watch, but when I have seen her, I never see her do the huggy thing. She seems to assume a more professional manner.

It's flu season! There should be no kissing, hand-shaking, etc.

It's a good time to end that silly practice on QVC.

I think it is part of the sell....Represents trust and shows the host really relates to the vendor and their product....this is not someone selling something that they have no feelings about but a beloved vendor and product.
