I do not buy much from HSN but I was looking for a new cotton down comforter and found one I liked with hundreds of 4 or more stars reviews. So I ordered two. One in light blue and one in white.  I placed the order on Monday JUky 9th and they arrived by UPS today.  I live in California.  How can HSN deliver so promptly whereas QVC keeps orders in process for 3 days and it takes another week to deliver.   BTW. They are gorgeous and lightweight and all cotton for $79.95. Plus I got 20% off on one of them

Based on my experience, they have always had faster delivery times.  I order a lot of vitamins from Andrew Lessman and receive them in a couple of days (I live in Arizona).

Now, I must watch HSN2 because they highlight special priced items and free shipping.  I have already ordered two things and one of them came the very next day ...unheard of.  One more thing I would like to have is back at regular price.  I should have ordered it on free shipping day.  They had a lot of birthday specials.  Both shopping channels have a lot to offer.

I usually order from both depending on the item I am looking for...I find that their flowers selection is better, the cooking items are varied and certain clothing items (especially pants by IMAN) have a better fit than those purchased from QVC. I love the Q because I can order all of my beauty and bath products...I also have better fortune with finding tops (SG & Linear)...HSN does ship faster (sometimes you don't have a lot of time to cancel an item if you change your mind)..I appreciate their auto-deliver because most of the items I order don't have expiration dates. I also appreciate the ability to choose how many flex pays (usually between 1-4). One difference is HSN does not offer free exchanges but they will not hassle you when you request a price guarantee for an item purchased within 30 days that goes on clearance after you purchased. SN: HSN does have a lot of celebrity vendors and some of the items are overpriced and some can be found cheaper on Amazon.

I've had much better luck with shipping from HSN.....they're generally always faster than QVC. HSN also frequently offers a 20% discount via email, and HSN sale prices are better than the Q. And, thankfully HSN does not spend an inordinate amount of time selling Christmas items in July!

Probably because HSN is many times smaller than QVC?  They can deliver faster because they sell fewer products or perhaps it was just that particular item.  That item might have shipped directly from the vendor.   I know that some of my Evine and QVC items ship out promptly and I receive them in a few days.....others don't and I wait a week for QVC deliveries and up to 9 days for Evine.  I have to say, it's just "stuff" and I don't mind waiting 7 to 9 days for a tee shirt or my Keurig coffee or a pair of Vionics.    I've been doing this for  long enough to know that if I am buying a gift and I need it by a certain date and time is short, I should go to the mall.

may I have the item # for the down comforters you got?   They have many to choose from.    I think QVC bought HSN or vice versa, anyway, they are now the same place?  But I agree, shopping HSN is much more affordable, fast and fun

@Teddixat, A year or two ago I had been drooling over a pair of gorgeous, substantial gold hoops on HSN.  They were more money than I really wanted to spend, but stayed on my brain and I finally decided to pull the trigger and buy them for $269.99 plus free shipping.  I got them within days of ordering them, thought they were prettier in person and was so happy I bought them.

I kept watching them as HSN frequently will lower the price substantially on items for a short period of time.  Well lo and behold, within my 30 day return period they dropped down to $199.99.  I called customer service, explained what happened and they agreed they should give me the $70.00 credit.  The credit was back on my card immediately.

I find HSN's customer service and shipping to be great.

My QVC shipping time is reasonable and I find don’t HSN to be any faster. IMO they are the same.
