I hope it is a big improvement over Windows 10, which IMO, is the worst OS ever. I wonder what took so long for Windows 11 to arrive.
Replacing Windows 10 with DOS would be an upgrade.

No, Vista was the worst. The best was Windows XP. imo

I get emails from HP and they're already offering computers with Windows 11 through their own site, but I'm not sure when they'll ship.
IMO, Microsoft has a habit of letting its customers beta test their new products, so I'm not in a hurry to jump on Windows 11.

I use a mouse with my touch screen. I rarely use the touch screen, mostly just to close a notification.

I wouldnt want to be the first one on the block to get a new computer format, usually after some new electronic or computer platform emerges all kind of glictches and bugs come out (computer bugs not real insects 😄)....I usually wait a year to two until the new thing is a bit perfected!

@qbetzforreal Windows XP was a good system, you're right about that.

I hated Windows threw them out 5 yrs or so ago. They took over your computer and made you upgrade to the next OS whether you wanted to or not. Tied up your computer for their own needs not yours.
Apple for me.

After what a poster wrote yesterday about her experience with HP and them not honoring their warranty, I'd be very leery of buying their products.

I use a mouse with my laptop, I have the touch pad turned off.
Being left handed it's very hard for me to use the touch pad.
