Yes, I called it a master list, but then I recalled that many real estate listings no longer call the big one the Master Bedroom.  It's often now referred to as the Main Bedroom.

You can see why, I'm sure, but the "master" connotation is hard to drop.

This whole master/primary thing is ridiculous. DH is a building contractor. He's had to (try) to remember to refer to the master bedroom as the "primary bedroom." Actually, he hasn't run into anyone who is bothered by or insists on using "Primary." But all the real estate YT channels use "Primary."

My older Aldi's has about six aisles, so I write a list on the back of an old envelope. I follow the layout of the store - it takes about twenty minutes to shop. With some specialized items being needed for the holidays, I'll venture into the big supermarket down the road from Aldi's. Having a bakery, deli, liquor store and custom meat department is a real luxury that I occasionally indulge in.

I'm a list person as well, gotta stay organized or I get stressed. I've been using an app for years on my phone for my grocery list and other lists.  Love it.

What app is this?

It's called AnyList.

ITA with you 100%.  However, give it a little time and someone will pounce on someone about the terminology.

I am not very scientific in my approach.  DH and I just keep a little tablet in one of the kitchen drawers, and as we run out of something or we think of something we just keep adding it to the list.  I go every other week to the store and I cruise each isle, so I always add quite a few things that were not on the list.  I find myself back-tracking too, because I think of extra things I want or need or want to try, so this adds on to the shopping time!
