I had small trike planter I had on my front step. It had some patina to it and the front wheel had blades in it, so when the wind blew thru it, it looked like it was moving and it had a very small pot that I put pansies in. Got home last night, and someon stole it off my front step. So angry. I loved that thing. GGGGRRRRRR!!!! Thanks for listening

Call you Police Dept.  They need to know what kind of items have been taken in order to patrol what areas.  Sorry someone thought your trike was adorable, too. Hope the PD finds it and returns it to you.

That really stinks. Theives seem to be everywhere these days. I saw yesterday on fb where a neighbor had a some expensive tools stolen when they weren't home. People have no shame.

I am so sorry that happened to you.

I hope you called the police to report this.  I know it might seem like a waste of time, but sometimes whoever stole it might be caught.

Often it is kids who steal from porches and yards.  They go through an area and take things just for fun and amass quite a collection.  The police find the stuff, but can't return it to it's rightful owner unless they have a report.

Reporting also let's the police know what is going on in the neighborhood and they. Know to be more watchful.

I hope you get your planter back.

Probably because they had it posted all over social media that they wouldn't be home or checked into someplace or were with so and so at such and such a place...

I'd be angry too. I have double front doors and I would decorate that area every season. I stopped a few years ago not that I had an issue but in case I did. It sad that it has come to that.

I hope you can find it, it sounds really cute.

@dex. Yes, I did check around my yard and didn't see it. I have never had anything taken from my yard before. I was thinking at first maybe a squirrel had knocked it off the steps trying to bury nuts in it. A lot of my pots have peanuts in them from the squirrels. They can be nuisance but do like to watch them.

@cookinfreak  So sorry that you were taken advantage of.  It's a complete violation to your property and your personal space.  Some people just have no scruples or regard for

right or wrong anymore.  I feel for your disappoinment and frustration that a little piece of joy was taken away from you.

I agree with the others that have suggested notifying your local police department.

There may have been similar thefts in the area and the police are already investigating.
